Like being completely out of control during childbirth?
"Pain-free" childbirth isn't really a thing...
We've all heard those stories.
The ones about the women who practice hypnosis for birth.
As a doula and mom of 5 I've heard more than my fair share of stories about Hypnobabies and childbirth.
Some good, some bad, and some really bad.
But the thing was, I was curious.
What was all this really about?
I know there's special things to do to be able to support families who chose this method of childbirth, but what exactly were these "things"?
I was so curious in fact, that I sought out a specialized training just for doulas supporting Hypnobabies parents.
I was going to become a Hypno-Doula!
I was skeptical, but went into learning about it with an open mind.
Not like in a "coming to Jesus" way... BUT...
I can say I understand the bad, really bad stories,
and the amazing stories
better now and how/why things worked out how they did.
I understand how to specifically support these clients in a way that I never would have without this training.
Hypno-moms need different things and birth can look
completely different for them;
Knowing how to best support them is something I'm really excited to bring to the table!
Hypnobabies takes dedication.
It takes a positive attitude.
It takes daily practice.
It takes commitment.
And it really takes having a strong enough mind to block out and run from all the negative surrounding birth people can spew.
I still stand by my beliefs that not everything is for everyone,
especially through the birth process.
But those who use Hypnobabies and actually follow through the entire process, come out on the other side loving it;
And that's just something I can for sure get behind!
The positive language used and even just the knowledge obtained through the process is fantastic.
I'm so excited to announce this specialized completed training to best support
Hypno-parents as a Hypno-Doula!
